I've Been You
I know what it feels like to struggle at the piano. I lived through rigid traditional lessons, stressful formal studies, and late nights trying to teach myself by ear. I also spent years performing in jazz clubs, concert halls, Broadway-style theaters, film studios, and everything in between — often in the same day.
All of that became the foundation for what I call "Piano With Personality" — a teaching approach that meets you where you are and gets you where you want to go, faster than you'd expect.

Who Am I?
I'm an award-winning pianist, composer, music professor, and educator with nearly 20 years of professional experience. I hold three music degrees and have worked with Grammy, Emmy, Tony, Golden Globe, and Oscar winners.
My music has been heard on Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, Apple, PBS, and in films, television, games, podcasts, and theatre, plus in viral videos totaling over 75 million views. My work as a global musician includes working with music clients in all 50 states and 30+ countries spanning six continents.
As a professor, I have taught at five universities and led masterclasses at numerous institutions. My students have gone on to perform on Broadway, in national tours, film, and television, and with companies including Disney and Universal.
My career has earned me numerous accolades: Top 10 rankings in international music competitions, best-selling music author status, and many award recognitions spanning teaching, composing, performing, and non-profit arts leadership at the global level.
My greatest accomplishment? Helping thousands of adults just like you discover that it is never too late to learn to play beautiful piano.
